Downtown Aberdeen’s Davenport Galaxy has changed hands — this time to Keith Moneymaker, owner of @sweetdreams_mattresses and founder of the nonprofit Dreams 4 All Foundation. Keith is keeping most of the project a mystery, but did say that while an arcade may have been the dream of the previous owner, that’s not part of his plans. You’ll know more when we do.
In case you missed it: We knew this little corner in the Belevedere Plaza wouldn’t stay empty long. The spot most recently housed Rooted Cafe. It’ll now be the home of a new sip shop dubbed Santé, by Mary Schlaff, the owner of @thevillagewineshoppinehurst and @thevillagewineshopaberdeen. It’s expected to open mid-summer.
