The Run for the Ribbons, an annual fundraiser for The Foundation of FirstHealth and Discovery Place Kids, happens Saturday, April 14 in downtown Rockingham. This popular 5K and 1-mile fun run begins and ends at Discovery Place Kids, taking those up for the longer trek on a journey over challenging hills and alongside Hitchcock Creek.
Your registration fee ($10-$30) includes a day pass to Discovery Place Kids, so you can stay and play all day after crossing the finish line.
