Agora Bakery Officially Open in Pinehurst

Pinehurst’s newest French café, Agora, is now open in the historic Pinehurst Bank building. Equipped with an in-house chef and a baker that specializes in gluten-free and dairy-free goods, Agora will offer a full lunch, coffee and bakery menu.

You’ll find espresso, flat whites, cappuccinos and more, and items like turkey avocado sandwiches and seasonal salads. Kids’ options, smoothie bowls and freshly made cronuts are also on the menu.

David Tran says the concept for Agora is the brain child of his wife, Ginny, who hopes it can be a hotspot for families and entrepreneurs — and kitchen space can be arranged for local bakers interested in selling their goods in-house.

Future plans for Agora include an outdoor patio space and extending weekend hours to serve wine, beer and bourbon. 

For now, Agora will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. In honor of their grand opening, Agora is giving away free coffee for a year to four winners tomorrow through next Friday. Find out how to enter on IG, and check out Agora’s full menu.
