Whiskey on Wheels
BHAWK (Brad Halling American Whiskey Ko.) has rolled out its newest project, which owners Brad and Jessica Halling call the Whiskey Wagon. The 30-foot by 14.5-foot trailer is complete with barstools, a mobile bar, covered patios, lights and even air conditioning.
The goal is to host tastings and serve batch cocktails while getting marketing exposure across North Carolina. “The value of being mobile is being able to tell our story directly to people just like we are in the distillery,” Jessica says.
You’ll also be able to rent the whiskey wagon for private events whether you’re a business or an individual. You can book the whiskey wagon by emailing events@hallingwhiskey.com
Since officially opening BHAWK earlier this year, the Hallings have felt supported by Moore County. “You all have given us a phenomenal start,” says Brad. More than 50 people have been employed at the distillery so far, and more than 50 private events have been held there. “That’s exactly why we built this here. We wanted to really be in the community.”
BHAWK now has live music on Thursday evenings and kitchen hours are extending from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. You can keep a look out for specials and an added cigar inventory as well. Misting fans have been added to the patio for especially hot days.
In addition to regular happenings, there have already been over 50 private events on the BHAWK campus with everything from corporate business conferences to bachelor parties to retirement parties.
“We want to become a North Carolina whiskey staple,” says Jessica adding that they would love for people to request BHAWK whiskey at local ABC stores.
What else is in the works? You can expect to see vodka and gin being distilled in the third quarter of 2024.
