What That Brain Do?
Sharing your talents can seem daunting, but Swank Coffee Shoppe in DTSP gives you the opportunity in an encouraging environment at its Writer’s Nights (formerly known as Open Mic nights). This is your chance to share any original work, from poetry to songwriting to comedy, and all ages are welcome.

“I always say its like an adult show and tell. Show us your talent, what are you passionate about?” says Scarlet Tantrum, who hosts. “This is the perfect place to get out of your shell.”
There are typically about 11-12 acts per night and there is a link to sign up ahead of time, or you can just come to enjoy and support. Writer’s Night happens every other Thursday, 5:30-7:30 p.m.; catch the next one on April 17.
