Get a Cup in Cameron

Owners of the Old Hardware Depot and Dewberry Cafe are adding a coffee bar to the lineup on Saturday, Aug. 16. The Vintage Depot Coffee & Market will serve up drip coffee, espresso and specialty drinks, cold brew, tea and Lotus energy drinks. There will be a few nondairy milk options as well. The coffee bar is located in the top of the building with the antiques, above the cafe. General Manager Donovan Hamilton sees it as another source of income, especially since it is now the only spot to get coffee in downtown Cameron. 

“There’s not a whole lot of restaurant/coffee bar/antique stores in the world, so we may as well keep doing the weird stuff,” Donovan says. And to that, we say cheers. The coffee beans will be supplied from Rise & Grind Coffees, out of Fayetteville. And yes, you can expect to see fall favorites, like their take on a pumpkin spice latte. Hours are subject to change but are currently set for 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
