Got an Interior Motive?

Design and lighting showroom Dahr Interior has your back. The shop made its debut in downtown Southern Pines today, Aug. 15, the first to move into the newly remodeled Princess Theatre at 143 NE Broad St. A designer will always be available, and you can see and touch samples of everything from rugs and wallpapers to tile and lighting. 

“I like to say this is the base for getting your place ready, then you can go to one of our other stores, like Dahr, for smaller touches,” says owner Sanna Nassar. 

Sanna and her husband, Rick, also own Furniture in the Pines and The Outlet in downtown Aberdeen. She says it feels good to be opening their fourth business, calling Dahr Interior “the final piece.”

“I’ve worked on projects in the past with customers where even I had to go to multiple places just to find the right lighting and countertops, and it’s nice to bring it all into one space,” she says. The designers will work with anyone from a small project to new builds to commercial spaces.

You can stop in from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, or schedule an appointment for uninterrupted one-on-one time with a designer. Stop in through the weekend for grand opening swag bags until supplies runs out.
