The Southern Pines deli has collaborated with Railhouse Brewery in Aberdeen on the official Brooklyn Pickle Lager, an American style lager at 4% ABV. And yes, it’s made with real pickle juice from Brooklyn Pickle itself. Head brewer Jason Hull says “it has noticeable pickle flavor without overwhelming the lager behind it,” making it perfect for those unsure if they can dill with the taste. It’s on tap only at the local Brooklyn Pickle, but might eventually be found at other locations throughout the state.
