Lotus Dig In

You may have noticed that Banh-Sen Noodle Bar in DTSP has been closed, but it is reopening as The Lotus this coming Tuesday, Sept. 2. Owners Keena Kham and Vivi Vonghom are keeping much of the Bahn Sen menu but they’ve sought to improve it, adding in some favorites from their other business Wok n’ Roll and bringing in frequently requested items like Pad Thai.

The Lotus, Keena says, “is one of our favorite flowers. We wanted to give the spot a bit more of a feminine touch.” They are proud to offer Asian American cuisine at a women-owned downtown business and look forward to jumping right in.

Because they’ve missed seeing customers while getting the rebrand underway, Keena and Vivi are offering 15% off meals for the entire month of September at Wok n’ Roll and The Lotus. The Lotus will be open: 

• 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for lunch Monday through Saturday
• 4:30-8 p.m. for dinner Monday through Thursday
• 4:30-9 p.m. for dinner Friday and Saturday 
• 4:30-8 p.m. for dinner Sunday
