Finding ways to give old pieces new life, or to make new pieces fit in old spaces, is Angie Clark’s forte. She began her business with a booth inside Design Market on N.C. 5, where she stayed for five years. This weekend she is debuting her own physical location of new, antique and revamped furniture, trinkets and housewares called Bloom Once Again. Her goal is to showcase all the things you can do in your home.

Angie will also sell Paul Montgomery, a high-end wallpaper brand, in store. She is a firm believer that color adds joy to any space. “The thrill to me is figuring out how to make it all work when mixing styles,” says Angie. Her advice when decorating your home is to take your time, find pieces of value and make sure you’re not just chasing trends. “To me, if you love it, it’s in style,” she says. “I think society has kind of trained us to be disposable with things. That’s not what I want to do.” Find the store next to Fresh Market at 135 Beverly Lane, Southern Pines. The soft opening is this Saturday, Sept. 6. Regular hours will be Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Saturday, Sept. 13: Stop in for the grand opening; the first 50 customers receive a Bloom Once Again specialty cookie, and maybe even some special offers.
