:: Attend a Free Program — The Moore County NAACP and AKA Sorority present theirs at 11:30 a.m. Monday, with participation from local kids. Faith Missionary Baptist Church will have a program at 5:30 p.m. Monday. Both are at Southern Pines Primary School.
:: See a Free Concert — Damien Horne, who has shared the stage with the likes of John Legend, will perform during a Martin Luther King Jr. celebration at Sandhills Community College. That’s Tuesday, at 12:30 p.m.
