Liz Fleming, the founder and CEO of The Small Town Social and creator of the annual GLOWCON expo, just released her debut book “Powerhouse.” She describes it as part memoir, part guide. In true boss babe fashion, within the first 48 hours of its release the book breached the Amazon Top 10 New Release lists in the motherhood and self-esteem categories.

The three-part book draws on her own journey, from feeling overwhelmed by postpartum depression to overcoming what she describes as the isolation of being a young mother and military spouse. “So it’s being of the mindset that when you work on yourself, you can truly alter your own reality and manifest anything and everything that you want, as long as you’re being in your awareness of your own energy,” says Liz. “That takes work. I talk about this in the book — it’s not about toxic positivity. It’s not about saying affirmations every day. You have to do the hard work.” The book is available at The Country Bookshop.
