Rose on the Road

After three years in downtown Southern Pines’ Belvedere Plaza, Love Rose Boutique will soon be moving to Broad Street. “It’s right where everyone wants to be,” says owner Mclendyn Weathersby. The move will bring the young business owner more visibility and space to expand on her offerings. She describes the shop’s aesthetic as giving “concert vibes,” with colorful trendy pieces always in stock.

The new space will be where Monkee’s of the Pines currently is, at 124 NW Broad St., as that boutique is moving a few storefronts down to a larger space as well. Mclendyn is excited for the change (and having storage space) though she will miss her first spot. “It’s a good starting space for sure,” she says. “The courtyard is so perfect.” She plans to remain open as usual until the big move in October. Love that.
