A little more than a year after expanding the Meat and Greek food truck into a brick-and-mortar restaurant on West Pennsylvania Avenue in Southern Pines, Brittany and Oresti Arsi are looking for a new location —one with more potential to expand the restaurant’s growing takeout and catering operation.
Customers found the current location closed on Wednesday as the couple worked to finalize new plans. Brittany said they were “eyeballing” a spot nearby, but weren’t ready to divulge the location.
“When our beloved seniors went back to school, we lost like 80 percent of our workforce,” Brittany said. “That combined with COVID restrictions had us looking for something with more potential to deliver quick, quality food to-go, in a touch-free pickup window.”
