Lynn Lanier’s 29-year career in nursing and passion for helping others make her the perfect supporter for FirstHealth cancer patients.
Lynn is paired up with patients at the time of diagnosis, helping them make educated decisions about treatment options. During a time when it’s common to feel scared and alone, Lynn goes the extra mile — asking physicians for more information, using visual aids to clarify procedures and answering a phone that never stops ringing.
“Every day the blessing of what I do comes back to me for the help the patients receive,” she says. “It’s as simple as having someone to talk to, and I walk away with the blessing of getting to be a helper.”
