Get a Handle on Handel’s
Southern Pines is gaining another ice cream chain, called Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream, in the Lowes Foods shopping plaza near Brooklyn Pickle. This location will have 48 flavors at all times with rotating seasonals. Handel’s began in Ohio in 1945 and now has roughly 150 stores across the nation. It could open early next year.
