After a public hearing that ended at 1 a.m. this morning, the Southern Pines Town Council gave the OK for a $30.8 million, 800-student campus on Camp Easter Road. The school will be part of a development that includes 100 homes. If no roadblocks arise, the school will open August 2019. It is expected to ease crowding on Vass-Lakeview and Sandhills Farm Life.
