AllTru, a nonprofit that connects women of the Special Operations community and helps them give back, brings its annual reunion event to Pinehurst this weekend. AllTru’s annual events honor fallen women soldiers through multiple programs, including active memorials and panel discussions meant to inspire the next generation.

While serving in Afghanistan, AllTru co-founder and CEO Jessica Yahn said she “realized that ensuring lasting stability in the places we deploy to relies on education.” The nonprofit now works with several partners to provide satellite internet for girls schools in Afghanistan, which are operating underground.

“It’s purposeful work and I know from the feedback from those we serve that it’s needed. It’s also filling a gap for women of the Special Ops community, and I think our youth enjoy the sense of purpose they see in us,” Jessica says.
