HERE’S SOME WAYS TO SAY ALE YEAH:
- Saturday, Sept. 20 and Sept. 27: Enjoy beers galore at Southern Pines Growler Co. during its Oktoberfest celebrations. The fun lasts all day but expect a stein holding competition around 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. both days. Come in traditional garb for Biergarten fun. Tap into a good time.
- Saturday, Sept. 27, 5-9 p.m.: The Fayetteville Woodpeckers host Pecktoberfest, with over 50 beers and ciders to sample. Sounds like a home run.
- Saturday, Sept. 27, noon to 6 p.m.: The Buggy Factory is joining the fun for its first Oktoberfest celebration with stein holding, keg races and beer specials. O’zapft is!
- Saturday, Sept. 27, noon to 9 p.m.: Grab your lederhosen for Static Line Brewing’s Oktoberfest with a German food truck, contests, swag and live music. Guten Tag.
- Friday through Sunday, Oct. 3-5: Dirtbag Ales hosts an entire weekend of festivities with food trucks, games, costume contests and more. Put on your lederhosen.
- Saturday, Oct. 4: It’s not over yet at Southern Pines Growler Co. They have another day of Oktoberfest celebrations. Beer me.
- Saturday-Sunday, Oct. 11-12: Red’s Corner hosts German food trucks and live music; Pawtoberfest happens on Sunday. Prost.
- Sunday, Oct. 12, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Get out and about during Pop Up in the Pines’ Oktoberfest mini market at Hatchet Brewing Co. There will be food trucks, vendors, coffee, live music and brews. Play edelweiss.
- Saturday, Oct. 18: Get your pretzels in a twist, literally, during Railhouse Brewery’s 14th annual Oktoberfest games. It’s free to attend but to participate in the games, you’ll need tix.
- Saturday, Oct. 25, 4-9 p.m.: The Village of Pinehurst celebrates Oktoberfest complete with a polka band at Tufts Memorial Park. Dress to impress.
