Through March 30: The Village of Pinehurst will hide five one-of-a-kind Thomas Pottery eggs around downtown each week — finders keepers. All eggs will be accessible from sidewalks or paths. Here’s a map.

Friday, March 29, 2-5 p.m.: The West Southern Pines Cultural Arts Center and West Southern Pines Community Association will host an Easter egg hunt at the West Southern Pines Center, 1250 W. New York Ave., Southern Pines. Enjoy egg hunts, food drinks and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Bring your own basket.

Saturday, March 30, 1 p.m.: The Village Chapel hosts a free community egg hunt with prize eggs, at 10 Azalea Road, Pinehurst.

Saturday, March 30, 1-1:30 p.m.: The town of Vass hosts an Easter Egg Hunt at Sandy Ramey Keith Park with games, activities and visit from the Easter Bunny. Hunts are scheduled by age. Hop to it. (this listing reflects the new date for this event)

Saturday, March 30, 5:30-8 p.m.: Bounce into the Carolina Hotel’s Grand Ballroom for a room filled with inflatables, corn hole, ice cream and more. The Easter Bunny visits at 6:30 p.m. Then, try your hand at mini glow golf putt-putt in Carolina Hall from 5-9 p.m. Get tix, chickadee.

Saturday, March 30: The Moore County Farmers Market hosts an Easter Egg Hunt at Southern Pines Downtown Park, with a start at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. Bring your own basket.

Sunday, March 31, 10-11 a.m.: West End Presbyterian Church will host an egg hunt for toddlers through fifth-graders at 275 Knox Lane, West End.

Sunday, March 31, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Join Misty Morning Ranch for its annual Easter egg hunt. Kids will hunt plastic eggs, adults hunt real ostrich eggs. There will be ostrich tacos for sale as well. See parking and egg hunt prices here.

Easter Brunch For Your Bunch

Sunday, March 31

10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Put on your Sunday best for an Easter Brunch Buffet at Pinehurst Resort. Adults get a complimentary mimosa or champagne. Kids can enjoy a scavenger hunt and an Easter Bunny visit. Everyone enjoys a menu worth drooling over. Book a seating time here.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Elliott’s on Linden is serving ham and biscuits, plus choice of soup or salad from the kitchen. Graze several stations like raw seafood, carved curated entrees serving everything from lamb to halibut and a dessert bar. Tickets are $75 per person. Kids eat for $40. 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Try the new Bell Tree Tavern Whispering Pines for an Easter Brunch buffet. Includes an Omelet Station with all of your favorite fillings, Mixed Fruit, Assorted Danish and Muffins, Biscuits and Sausage Gravy, House Smoked Beef Brisket Hash, French Toast Casserole, Roasted Potatoes, Grits, Bacon and Sausage, Assorted Salad, Cheese Board, Carving Station with Ham, Turkey Tetrazzini, Beef Tips with Wild Rice, Broccoli and Cheese, Glazed Carrots, and Assorted Desserts. Drinks and mimosa towers also available. Dig in.

11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Pinecrest Inn is serving an Easter Buffet. Choose from entrees like brown sugar glazed ham to shrimp scampi, a carving station, various sides and desserts like homemade peach ice cream sandwich. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: The Sly Fox Pub is offering a Brunch Buffet. Made to order omelettes and french toast are on the menu plus lamb and prime rib. Other options include brunch favorites like chicken and waffles and a dessert bar. Tickets are $48.00 per adult and $15 kids 12 and under. Make reservations by calling 910-725-1621.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Drum and Quill is serving up a Pub Brunch. Dig into steak and eggs or eggs benedict four ways. Sip on $6 homemade horseradish bloody marys or six flavors of mimosa. Then add Bourbon Chess Pie or Rum Bread Pudding for dessert. Full menu here.

Wednesday, March 20, 5-6 p.m.: Moore County Parks and Rec hosts at Eggcellent Adventure for kids 6 and under with face painting, egg hunt and a visit from the Easter Bunny. It’s at the Moore County Sports Complex, 155 Hillcrest Park, Carthage. Bring a big basket.

Saturday, March 23, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Head to Cannon Park to eggsplore the Village of Pinehurst egg hunt. Hunts are scheduled by age. Stick around for an Easter Bunny visit. See times here, egghead.

Saturday, March 23, 24, 30, 31: Bring your littles to Aloha Safari Park where there are egg hunt times according to age. Every kid receives a bag of candy and special golden eggs will be hidden. Enjoy giraffe feeding, bounce houses and more. Hop to it.

Saturday, March 23, 10-11:30 a.m.: Join Southern Pines Parks & Rec at Campbell House for an Easter extravaganza complete with an egg hunt, bunny and crafts galore. Activities start at 10 a.m., egg hunts are at 11 a.m. Crack up.

Saturday, March 23, 4-6 p.m.: See the Easter Bunny at Red’s Corner for Hoppy Hour. Enjoy froseccos, beer specials and photo-ops. We’re all ears.

Saturday and Sunday, March 23-24: Hop aboard Aberdeen Carolina & Western Railway‘s Easter Train’s Bunny Tales and Rails ride for families. The 30 minute train ride begins at West End Fire Department and includes story time while aboard. It ends with an egg hunt and the opportunity to explore firetrucks, get face paint and more. **RESCHEDULED** Sunday, March 24, 1 p.m. to 4 :30 p.m.: Don’t forget your Easter baskets for Aberdeen’s egg hunt at the Malcom Blue Farm. Hunts are scheduled by age group. There will be an Easter Bunny, pony rides and petting zoo. Eggcited?

Sunday, March 24, 2-4 p.m.: Visit the Easter Bunny at Once Upon a Child, 180 Commerce Ave., Southern Pines. There will be sweet treats and deals, too. Bring a big basket.

Sunday, March 24, 2 p.m.: Join Hammer & Stain in Southern Pines for a “parent and me” DIY workshop. Learn to decorate Easter cookies with Butterbar Bakery and make a wood plank craft. Sign up here.

Tuesday, March 26, 2-3:30 p.m.: Take an Easter floral design class at Sandhills Community College Horticultural Gardens. All supplies are included and you get to take home a vase and arrangement. Spots are limited, hunny bunny.

Wednesday, March 27, 10:30-11:30 a.m.: Bring somebunny who likes treats to the Dog-gone Easter Egg Hunt at Martin Dog Park in Southern Pines. There will be paw painting, fun activities, treats and photos with the Easter Bunny. It won’t be ruff.
