The Tea is Scentsational
Lindsey Lochner and her family spent the last several years overseas and knew when they put down roots, they wanted to farm. So, in January 2022, they bought land in Cameron, planted rows of lavender, and debuted Lazy Fox Lavender Farm. This July, Lindsey began hosting traditional Southern tea parties on the screened-in porch of the family’s 1910 farmhouse.
“We wanted to be able to give back to the community,” says Lindsey. “When you move around so much you end up taking more than giving. We’re excited to be able to start giving back.”
The parties are a family affair; Lochner’s three kids help serve guests who take the opportunity to dress up in their best tea attire. The menu includes lavender-infused lemonade, tea and pastries. There’s even lavender butter, which tastes way better than it sounds, and three tea-tray tiers of small bites catered by local businesses. During and after this ultimate girl dinner, Lindsey enjoys educating people about lavender and giving tours of the field.
You can book a morning or afternoon tea time here, or inquire about wedding showers or other events for 20 or less. A lot of detail goes into each tea so tickets are not available far in advance, but you can keep tabs on events via Instagram. Pinkies up.
