This One’s Fore the Girls

Women’s golf brand Putter Girl, founded by longtime realtor Jamie McDevitt, now has a physical location in Pinehurst. Jamie started the brand online around two years ago with a focus on lots of color, affordability and inclusivity, with apparel available in sizes XS to 4XL. Instead of seasonal drops you’ll find new items almost weekly, plus accessories like towels, ball markers and hats.

There are also fitting rooms to make sure your merch is par for the course, putt it doesn’t stop there. The back of the store will have a party room, complete with a mini bar and golf simulator, so women “can shop a little and play some games, putt and have a more private experience,” says Jamie. She also plans to have a small line of his-and-hers matching shirts.

• The grand opening is Saturday, Oct. 5, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The first 50 customers will receive a free gift and all customers will be entered into a $250 shopping spree giveaway. Be on the lookout for a mannequin naming competition, too. Shop at 211 Central Park Avenue, Suite F., Pinehurst.
