Now Boarding
Salty Boards, the custom charcuterie service, is going mobile — sort of. Owner Sarah Reagan fell in love with carts she’d seen trending on Instagram, and decided to get her own that she says will be “kind of like Subway for charcuterie.” The cart will be rentable for events, where she’ll make up mini boxes for guests. And yes, you can still opt for a traditional board.
Salty Boards has been in business about a year, and Sarah currently works out of Red’s Corner’s commissary kitchen. “The outpouring of support I receive as a small business owner, a female and a veteran is something I think most would only get in Moore County,” she says. Sarah thinks collaborating with other local businesses is gouda, whether it’s providing snacks or leading a workshop. “I want to make charcuterie accessible for everybody, whether you have a really tight budget or huge budget,” she says.
