If your holiday photo horse never left the stable, this couple’s Christmas carriage is clopping to the rescue. Eddie and Sonya Thompson’s front-yard community photo op has returned. The tradition began last year, complete with props and a phone mount for selfies. It’s free to do, just show up. “It just costs a smile,” says Eddie, adorably.
The couple has added new red seating and pillows, adhering to their goal to make it a little different each year. Pets are welcome, too — Sonya says lots people have brought their dogs. So far this year, the carriage has attracted an entire wedding party and a family that brought their own Santa.
