How Would You Describe the Business? What Makes it Special?
“What makes my business special are my clients! I operate a home-based bookkeeping and payroll service. I also do general office services but the main focus is bookkeeping and payroll. All of my clients are very dear to me and they keep me on my toes! I love what I do and am so thankful for those I work with and have had the opportunity to work with in the past!”
How Have Regulations Affected Your Business? How Have You Adapted?
“As I am home based, that part hasn’t affected me so much. A lot of my job can be handled over email, phone conversations, direct deposits and even mail. What has affected me are the clients that have had to close and/or scale back. I feel badly for each of them and it concerns me of how they are being affected in this challenge. It is a trickling down effect that will affect all of us to some degree. It results in loss of revenue for us as a whole. It is my hope that we keep each other strong and we will get through this together.”
