Take a Swigg

Swigg and Savor with Sriri, a Vietnamese coffee and quick bites cafe, is in its soft opening phases with a limited menu. “These are all the foods I grew up with,” says owner Sririvanh Rathsombath, or Sriri for short. You can order things like a breakfast sandwich, soup dumplings, musubi (which is basically a sushi roll with Spam), pork belly bao buns and more. Plus boba, ube and pandan cold foam with Vietnamese coffee and more.

Vietnamese coffee, she says, is stronger than regular coffee or cold brew because it’s made with robusta beans, which have almost double the caffeine.

Sriri was excited to transform the space, which was most recently a sneaker shop. “This building is so adorable, I just wanted it to be more inviting,” she says. Her hours will be Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A grand opening is set for April 14. Find it at 190 W Pennsylvania Ave., Southern Pines.
