The larger space, at 154 NW Broad St., opened today. Filled with natural and overhead light, the new digs present those iconic bags and ever-growing list of accessories via repurposed trunks, metal racks and warm cabinetry.
The location is friendlier to shoppers with mobility issues, and moms with giant strollers or small kids in tow.
“We’re super excited about being on Broad Street because in a way, it’s like we’ve made it in Southern Pines,” says Cameron Cruse, who founded the store along with Lisa Bradley. “It’s going to put us more in the limelight of our military community — directly and indirectly, we’re going to have the ability to connect with more military spouses.”
Visit the store during Saturday’s grand opening celebration. Registers will be open from 10-8 p.m., and each purchase comes with an entry into a raffle drawing. The first 50 customers to spend $100 or more get a swag bag. RSVP.
From 10-11:30 a.m., enjoy coffee, mimosas and cupcakes with Cameron, Lisa, and the store’s staff. Info.
Then, from 6-8 p.m., join a cocktail hour for R.Riveter’s custom beer collaboration with Southern Pines Brewing Co., along with Reverie Cocktails and champagne from The Wine Cellar. More.
