ICYMI: The Jefferson Inn is in fact open again and the 1901 Lounge has a new menu. On the menu you’ll see the Room 13 cocktail, which has a dark smoky flavor to match its dark and smoky backstory.
The drink was created by bar manager Asheland Runger after room 13 was set on fire back in December (the culprit was arrested for arson, the rest of the hotel is OK and no, we don’t know why he did it). Asheland decided to combine mixology and humor to stay lighthearted about what could’ve been a much worse situation.
