Drinks Anything But Mid(field)
If you have a kid in sports, you know finding healthy options for hydration can be challenging. That’s why local veteran couple John and Amy Heniger created PitchFit. It’s a lightly carbonated sports drink with no artificial colors, preservatives or sweeteners. “Really we just wanted a better product to fuel our kids, and there’s nothing really out there other than Gatorade,” says Amy. The soccer-themed branding was inspired by their two soccer-loving kids.

The drinks do contain electrolytes for replenishment, vitamin C for immune support and 9g of added cane sugar to sweeten the taste a bit.
For its initial launch, PitchFit is available in three flavors: Breakaway Blue (named for the blue raspberry flavor, but it isn’t actually blue), Striker Strawberry and Playmaker Punch. Drinks are available for preorder now, direct to consumer, as part of their initial launch. “We’re excited to fuel kids with something good for their body,” says John.
