Good Crafternoon
In case you missed it, KidCentric Creative Studio is open for creativity to roam wild. Located at 290 SW Broad Street, next to Maisonette, the craft studio is filled with color, imagination and lots of glitter. The space was designed with kids in mind. “I’m proud of giving kids a space to be messy,” says owner Paige Martinez. No two crafts ever turn out alike. “I think having less restrictions than you do at home really allows kids creative minds to flourish,” she adds.
The studio is a drop-in art space, with sensory play and weekly themed crafts to choose from. You can also pick something from the “craft buffet” if you don’t want to do the curated craft of the week. Ten-class packs are available for frequent fliers and the space has plenty of seating for parents who want to sit and have a coffee while their child crafts.
Paige says she sees a lot of preschool-aged kids during the week and older kids on the weekends. She plans to eventually add in more adult workshop nights. “It’s amazing to see the different families come in, with totally different personalities, all finding common ground with something,” says Paige.

KidCentric Creative Studio is available for birthday parties as well. Drop in 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday or 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday. See upcoming workshops and more info online, and see what others are creating here.
