Ford F1-Kitty
Earlier this Thursday afternoon, a local family heard strange noises coming from their vehicle so they decided to drop it by Cooper Ford in Carthage. Shop manager Kevin Cozine said the service department quickly realized the strange noises were tiny meows. The whole team dropped everything to join in the rescue effort. “We opened the hood and could barely see the head. We had to put the vehicle on the lift and take off the underbody panel,” says Kevin.

Stuck between the bottom of the engine and a panel, the little guy must’ve been trying to add some extra purr to that motor. Fortunately he was in expert hands: Kevin had also once removed a live opossum from an engine compartment. What are the odds? Probably the same as the vehicle the kitten escaped from being a Ford Escape, which it was. The owners of the car decided to keep the lucky kitten, and name him Cooper.
