If Ya Know, Ya Know
Nothing beats an outfit with lore. That’s why you still have 20 worn-out T-shirts from college. Meet Dan Howell, the man behind VibePines, a project that banks on Moore County’s nostalgia. True locals will recognize many of the graphics as old businesses or events that were once staples in the area.

Dan grew up here and says “being from this area is almost like being in a club.” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves. Although he no longer lives in the area, he visits often. The shirts are meant to be both conversation starters and an “if you know, you know” indicator — a way to bring someone back to their cherished memories in what he refers to as Small Town USA.

Shirts are made by demand and feature logos of old public schools, landmarks, sayings and more. Dan says he looks at the venture as “an homage and a thank you to all the businesses, schools and towns and the path they shaped for so many.” Browse shirts and make suggestions for new ones on the website.
