:: Southern Pines: Knollwood Tract — County commissioners have agreed to fully fund this 800-student campus on Camp Easter Road, with a $30 million bank loan. The school will draw students from Sandhills Farm Life and Vass-Lakeview. Proposed opening date: Aug. 2019
Progress on the following depends on the passage of a $123 bond referendum, which voters will decide in May. The referendum lets the county raise taxes to pay back the loan, if needed.
