Fourteen homeowners have banded together on a class-action lawsuit which blames Woodlake CC Corp. for causing their property values to plummet. ICYMI, the community flooded during Hurricane Matthew and hundreds of homes downstream from its lake were evacuated. The state breached the dam, and the lake is now a mud hole. Homeowners don’t expect to reclaim any money from the bankrupt company, but they’re hoping a judgment against it would let them take control of the lake.
