If you’re looking for ways to get submerged this summer, this list will (literally) have you covered.

Here’s a list of places to make a splash:

  • Southern Pines Pool Park: Get a daily pass for $2 or an annual pass for $80/resident, $240/non-resident. You can buy a 25-visit bundle, and kids under 12 get in for less. The pool will be open Memorial Day through mid-August. Float here for more details.
  • The Country Club of Whispering Pines: The pool will be open to members May 26 through Sept. 2. Get a regular membership for $545; there is a 5% military discount. Jump in.
  • The Lawn & Tennis Club: Get a family pool membership now $475 — price goes up to $525 after May 15. The pool will be open from June 1 to Sept. 1. Military discounts are available. Grab the sunscreen.
  • Foxfire Village: The pool is sadly still closed for the summer. Whomp, whomp.
  • Longleaf Golf & Family Club: Join as a full privilege member for golf, pool and clubhouse access or become a social member for the pool and clubhouse. More info here.
  • Pinehurst Resort Pool Complex: This pool is open. With an adults-only pool and hot tub, zero-entry family pool with a water slide and splash zones and a bar, this option will level up your summer. See how to become a member
  • Carolina Hotel Pool: This pool is heated with an additional hot tub, kiddie pool, relaxing lounge chairs. It is open year round and available with a pinehurst membership. Learn more about it.
  • Pinehurst Lake: The Pinehurst Lake is also available with the resort membership. It includes lake access, beach scenery, and floating jungle set. The lake opens May 16th on weekends and June 6th, Tuesday-Sunday. Dip your toe in

SPLASH PADS (FREE):

  • Pinehurst: The Rassie Wicker Park splash pad will be open from Friday, May 16 to Sunday, September 28th at 7:30. See hours here
  • Carthage: The splash pad at the Moore County Sports Complex park will be open daily from May 17 through Labor Day. It then switches to weekends only through September. See hours here.
