Raise your cranberry mimosa to doing the least on Thanksgiving. Here’s where you can pull up a seat to a Moore County table that’s not your own, or take home a turkey from a Moore County restaurant without risking third-degree burns.

Moore County Thanksgiving: Take Out

:: Pinehurst Resort: Pinehurst Resort’s Thanksgiving To-Go feeds a crowd of 10 — and it checks all the boxes with a 12 to 14-pound turkey, more than six homemade sides and two different pies for dessert. Call 295-6811 ext. 67567 to place your order by 5 p.m. on Nov. 20, and pick up your meal any time from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving day. Drool over the menu.

:: Beefeaters: Take your pick between three meals, all of which will feed 6-8 people — prime rib, Cornish game hens or Norwegian salmon. See the sides and pies here and order by Nov. 20.

195 American Fusion: Get turkey, ham, choice of three sides and salad to-go, with dessert by the slice. See the menu and ordering instructions here. Order by Nov. 21.

:: Pik N Pig: Place your order for a Boston butt or bone-in turkey, and add to the spread with collard greens, green bean casserole, Coca-Cola cake and more. Call 910-947-7591 to place your order, and pick it all up by Nov. 25. 

:: Karefree Produce: Karefree has sold out of turkey, but sides and pies are still available. Take it all in. There’s no set deadline, but order early.

:: Harris Teeter: Ordering opens for turkey dinners from the Teet on Nov. 6. Choose from turkey, ham, or prime rib and sides like sweet potato casserole, corn bread dressing and more. Dinners are $49.99.

:: The Fresh Market: A traditional holiday meal from The Fresh Market serves 8-10 people, includes all the classics and will put you out about $79.99. Order here.

:: Cracker Barrel: Place your order for a Heat ‘N Serve Thanksgiving meal from Cracker Barrel. Sizes range from 4-6 people to 8-10.

Moore County Thanksgiving: Dine-In

:: Theo’s Taverna: Dine-in or carry out from 11:30-8 p.m. Reservations are recommended: call 910-295-0780.

:: Magnolia Inn / Villaggio: Dine on three courses for $49.99 from 2-8 p.m. Here’s a menu.

:: Pinehurst Brewing Co.: Join in a Thanksgiving brunch served from 11-3. As always, no reservations will be accepted, and seating will stop at 2:30. Brunch features PBC’s regular menu as well as a turkey special.

:: Ironwood Cafe: The dine-in menu includes classics like turkey and pumpkin pie, along with less traditional items like Scottish salmon and steak and lobster. Here’s the rest. 

:: Cracker Barrel: They’ll be open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. and are ready to serve ya some mashed taters just like Nana used to make, turkey, stuffing and more. Added bonus: they sell alcohol now.



PAST DEADLINE:

Ashten’s: Take home roasted, bone-in turkey and choose from half or full pans of traditional sides like sweet potato casserole and roasted Brussels sprouts. Here’s what else is on the menu. Orders should be placed by Nov. 18 at 5 p.m. Call 910-246-3510 to place yours. 

:: Mid Pines Inn and Golf Club: Add a roasted turkey or bourbon maple glazed ham to your online cart, throw in some mashed potatoes and gravy, and add a pumpkin mouse parfait for a little razzle dazzle. Place your order by Nov. 19, and pick it up curbside on Thanksgiving Day. Order here.

FULL / SOLD OUT:

Elliotts on Linden: Place your order for a four-course Thanksgiving meal for two by 2 p.m. on Nov. 21. The spread includes farm-fresh turkey, a salad, a choice of pie and more. Peep the full menu.

:: Pine Crest Inn: Choose between three different meal packages that range from $60-$160 and feed between two and six people. See what’s for dinner.

:: Pine Crest Inn: Dine-in and feast on roasted turkey with giblet gravy and sides like sausage, apple and corn bread dressing and garlic whipped potatoes. Plates are $30 per person. Call 910-295-6121 to make a reservation. More details here.
