Here’s the rendering for New York Place, the four-story development proposed for the kudzu-covered corner of South Bennett Street and New York Avenue, near Southern Pines Growler Co. A conceptual plan for the project was approved over a year ago; the preliminary development plan, which includes 40 apartments and 9,000 square feet of retail, restaurant or office space, goes before the town’s planning board this Thursday, Dec. 19.
