It Builds Character
Antique lover and furniture DIY-er Gina Heinauer has traded her booth at Twigg & Co. in Aberdeen for 3,000-square-feet in Eastwood, called Antiquely Chic.
“We were consistently taking orders for furniture requests and being asked if we could find particular pieces, so we decided it was time to take this leap and go bigger,” she says. “Everyone asked for more, and that is what is coming — a lot more.”
Gina gutted the building and built out space for her own collection and room for a vendor marketplace of her own. The shop currently houses a small number of her own finds and refinished pieces.
“I am really looking forward to working with anyone who is a lover of old things like us,” she says.
