Because despite the sign, Karen’s dining room just doesn’t cut it. From rehearsal dinners and birthday parties to creative workshops, multipurpose event venue Soirée on South is open and available for bookings in Aberdeen.
The Bull Room previously occupied the space, located at 111 South Street. After months of renovations, owner Christina McMaster’s vision of creating a “bright and airy canvas” to fit any aesthetic has been brought to life.

Included in the space is tables and chairs for up to 36 adults and 12 children, a small prep kitchen, a dreamy outdoor patio and Insta-ready lighting that streams through the arched glass doors.
“My ultimate goal is to be an intimate gathering place — whether it’s hosting a once-in-a-lifetime event, an everyday celebration or just being a place for creatives to share their talents,” Christina says.
Bookings and tours are available via Instagram. An online booking system, which will accept everything from creative workshops to public, ticketed events is in the works.
