Christmas Photos That Sleigh

Eddie and Sonya Thompson had no idea their home would blow up on social media for being one of the most unique photo spots in Pinehurst during the holidays. The photo spot includes a fully decorated carriage and a phone mount so you can take your photos with ease. We’d call that a tree-mendous idea.
The local couple, with two kids and a grandchild on the way, thought of this idea three years ago after buying the carriage for no particular reason. And where does one keep a giant carriage the other eleven months of the year? Obviously at the in-laws’ house. Seriously, they do that. And if you’re wondering, the rest of their house is just as impressive, complete with a 12-foot Christmas tree.
“We just love seeing it make people happy,” says Sonya, adding that the photo station will be bigger and better next year, with its own Instagram page and hashtag. But if you have any hashtag ideas in the meantime, let them know. Be mindful of neighbors, but find it at 15 Pine Vista Drive in Pinehurst.
