As Southern Pines Growler prepares to move to their new building Bennett St., Charmed Salon hopes to expand into the tap room’s current location on W. Pennsylvania Ave.
According to Charmed stylist Savannah Duncan, construction is expected to last two months.
“We’ve been thinking about this for a while,” Duncan says. “Our owner always said that if our neighbors decided to move, she would talk to our landlord about taking over the space.”
They plan to knock down the adjoining wall between their salon and Southern Pines Growler. The additional space will allow for four to six new chairs, according to Duncan, doubling the salon’s square footage.
Charmed will only occupy a portion of their neighboring building. The back half with the beer shelves will be occupied by Berry Bowlful.
