After spending nearly two years building a brand through an online boutique and pop-ups across the state, Pinehurst native Casey Jones has opened a Southern Pines location for vintage, thrifted and up-cycled finds: Daisy Daydream

Owner of Daisy Daydream Casey Jones

Casey’s dream of a physical location was realized when Five Suns Boutique owner Porshia Hernandez offered up space within her store in the Belvedere Plaza.

The inside isn’t totally finished yet, but Casey has a lot planned. One of the goals for Daisy Daydream is to partner with Sandhills PRIDE for events, and to get more local artists in the shop to bring in home goods.

“I want to bring more into the shop but clothing will still be the bread and butter,” says Casey. They are also open to consignment or donations.

“I want to make sustainable fashion more accessible. But, another big thing of mine is styling and helping people find their gender identities through fashion,” Casey told us in an interview last year.

While the possibility of opening a physical location has been in Casey’s head for some time, the move to make it a reality was very sudden. Porshia, approached Casey about renting space a month ago, “and it just made sense,” says Casey.

The grand opening of Daisy Daydream at 128 W. Pennsylvania Ave. is Saturday, Mar. 5 at 6 p.m.

The store will be open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday. Follow Daisy Daydream on Instagram to see what’s new in store, or shop ahead online here.
