Some brides want to manage every detail, while others want to set a date and forget it. Filly & Colts at Little River Resort — a restaurant and event space in Carthage — is the venue for those in the latter category.
The upstairs reception area can accommodate parties from 50 to 300. On-site condos can house guests. The restaurant has an in-house floral designer, baker and chef, and all the tables and chairs you’ll need.
Many a bridesmaid and groomsman have met at the bottom of these stairs before walking down the “aisle,” toward the front door.
The Little River golf course may be closed for now, but myriad outdoor options with great views are still to be had. And if you’re looking for something really low-key, try the downstairs dining room.
