It’s The Vinyl Countdown
Sunday is your last day to thumb through Rendition Records before the shop closes the doors on its downtown Southern Pines operation. It opened in 2019 at 127 SW Broad St. in a space that once served as the server station for Betsy’s Crepes, which is right next door.
“This is just something to do for fun,” part-owner Keeli Anderson said then. Employee Jonathan Dupré agrees, saying he’s enjoyed meeting customers and spinning records — because, unlike other non-streaming music, “vinyl isn’t a dead format.”
“We are super bummed to close the shop,” says Keeli, but they hope to get more involved in pop-up markets this coming year.
