Bad and Brewsy

Saturday, April 20, noon to 6 p.m.: Celebrate four years of brewing with Hatchet Brewing Co. Party with bounce houses, a barbecue competition, specialty brews and pints for just $5 all day. If you’re feeling especially hoppy, get a VIP package which includes a commemorative glass, extra tickets for beer and barbecue, plus exclusive access to the new event space attached to the brewery: The Team Room.  Get tickets online or at the door.

The Team Room is where their weekly Two Steppin’ Tuesday classes happen, and where Hatchet will soon host line dancing on Fridays. The Team Room is also available for rentals such as retirement parties, promotion ceremonies and more. You can email pete@hatchetingbrewing.com to rent. 

• What else is brewing? In addition to opening The Vault in Selma, You can keep a look out for Hatchet’s first line of cans designed for cocktail mixers: first up is a ginger beer. They are also rolling out a limited cocktail menu this spring, with 4-5 drinks that will rotate quarterly. You can also expect to see more beer, podcast and merch collabs coming your way this spring.
