Owner Curt Shelvey plans to flip it and reverse it, Missy Elliott-style, and revert the Grinders and Gravy back to Curt’s Cucina. Yes, that includes indoor seating, the classic Curt’s menu — the whole nine.
But … THE GRINDERS??? Cue The Gravy Train — a grinders-only food truck that’ll be stationed at the Red’s Corner food truck campus. The Gravy Train will offer the same menu as Grinders and Gravy, along with a few additions like half-grinder options and cold grinders.
Okay, what’s the ETA? Sometime in the fall. Curt says they’re in the process of getting the inside of the restaurant back to its glory, and they’re having a custom food truck built for The Gravy Train. When Red’s Corner opens, so will The Gravy Train and the reveal of the OG Curt’s Cucina.
“Grinders & Gravy served its purpose during the pandemic, but it’s time to get back to the original concept,” Curt says. “I think this is a great way to keep the grinders alive, while being able to be creative in the kitchen again.”
