Eating Eggo waffles in bed with Thomas the Train blaring in the background sounds lovely, but it’s not exactly the definition of a “staycation.” Fortunately, you can get your fill of hotel room service at the new Hilton Garden Inn. The new hotel is located on S. Hill Street in Aberdeen across from the Hampton Inn & Suites.
The Hilton Garden Inn opened in late December. It boasts 103 rooms that range from standard to suite-style, a gym, pool, a restaurant and fully-stocked bar. Oh, and there’s also an excellent vantage for people-watching in the Best Buy parking lot.
Get your fill of burgers, pulled pork sliders and more from head chef Jor’l Campbell at the hotel restaurant (which has outdoor seating, too, BTW). The restaurant and bar are both open to the public seven days a week from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Conference rooms are available to rent for meetings, and ballrooms can be rented out for weddings or other larger gatherings.
The hotel itself is operating at 30 percent capacity right now, but there are plenty of rooms available that start at $160 per night. Book yours.
