Woman sitting on stool

Don’t worry, we’ll never match up, either.

This daughter of a seamstress and an engineer has made a second career simply by filling her downtown Southern Pines space with things that fit her refined, minimalist taste. Yeah, it’s that good.

Trish Deerwester started Patricia as a jewelry shop and later expanded her space in The Mews to accommodate finely sewn clothing and handcrafted accessories from around the world. She works with everyone from teenagers to octogenarians, mixing in fresh, quality pieces with things they already own (yes, even those jeans that CAME WITH THE HOLES, MOM).

But don’t let Trish’s perfectly accessorized profile intimidate you. Leave that tothe fact that she once worked with General Electric, installing MRI machines at FirstHealth — or, in 2002, claimed the state title for Cyclocross racing.

Her next adventure? A second store in Raleigh’s North Hills this October. Visit her before the next show at the Sunrise or after your next Target run, and let her style rub off on you.
