If you’re anything like us, going to a new town means finding all the best odds and ends for fun annnnnd maybe for a photo or two.
The Village Wine Shop: With cozy corners and a European flair nearly any inch of this place would make for a statement photo. You can also buy wine by the glass or bottle. *Try a frozé during the summer months.
The Payne Stewart Statue: Any golfer knows the iconic stance, obviously we’re not golfers. Find the statue and give ’em Payne. *The statue is currently relocated for the 124th U.S. Golf Open.
Pinehurst Trolley: Resort guests can take the historic trolley around town but you can probably get a photo on one even if you’re just passing through.
Pinehurst Alleys: In a totally non-sketchy way, the Pinehurst alleys are quaint and fun to explore. You can weave between streets, shop and live out your hallmark movie dreams.
The Carolina Hotel: What’s more iconic than hedges that spell Pinehurst? Bonus points if you walk around the hotel. We’d recommend taking a coffee on one of the porches during the day or a drink to the fire pits at night.
10-15 minute drive from Pinehurst:
Rec Room: This Southern Pines bar arcade is full of funky murals, games, a patio with outdoor seating corn hole and more.
Weymouth Center for the Arts & Humanities: Here you can explore the historic Boyd house, walk the grounds and find beautiful gardens, a fountain and more.
