New Gourmet Shaved Ice Truck Wants You to Chill Out

Holly Frank launched balloon art business Holly Pop Party on July 4, 2019. Two years later, Holly debuted her most-recent business venture, Goosies Ice. Made with no artificial sweeteners, dyes or anything else that’ll turn you into a high fructose corn syrup monster, Goosies isn’t your typical roadside snoball truck.

Aside from its lack of food dye #03492139, Goosies uses block ice — a texture Holly compares to fresh-fallen snow. Funky flavors like pineapple coconut (feat. a coconut cream pour over) and iced coffee (made with beans from Buggytown Coffee) will appear on the menu.

Goosies Ice is taking a few minutes to breathe after a crowded grand opening event at Soirée on South last Sunday, but according to their social media, they’ll be up and running again next week.

Goosies will be stationed at The Market Place Restaurant in the afternoons and evenings Wednesday through Sunday starting next Wednesday, July 13. Fore more info on Goosies, check them out on Insta, and see the full menu.
